D'Iberville apartments has a special place in my heart and will remain there long after I've moved out. The buildings are old, and what comes with them is the equally old mentality to earnestly take care of their residents and treat them fairly. In a world of condominiums and investment-firm owned housing, D'Iberville continued to stand firm as a family-owned business. The apartments are very well kept with beautiful original wood flooring, and any issues I had were quickly addressed by the on-site maintenance team. Additionally, you can't beat the well-kept landscaping, live oaks, and southern magnolias throughout the area! My daughter moved here out of college for her first job and away from home. I was pleased with the very solid built homes and the privacy. This is not your typical cracker box walk up apartment complex. All units are in the ground floor so no one above you like a home. You have plenty of yard to enjoy and covered parking option. Also nice is the single entrance. We were provided a washing machine and left an old dryer we did not take with us. The staff was very friendly and Christy was very helpful and a good ambassador for the area. Many of the neighbors were long timers so it does not have a transient feel and they are friendly.

I just read a review about D'Iberville Apartments that was terrible. If I lived in a place that bad, I would move also. However, I have lived in D'Iberville for over 5 years and I can attest that this is one of the best places in Mobile to live. The Women i. The leasing office do everything they can to accommodate reasonable requests of the residents. Maintenence and ground crews go above and beyond their duties. As long as I am in Mobile, D'Iberville Apartments is where I plan to live. It is a wonderful neighborhood. I understand different people have different tastes, and an historic apartment community may not be for everyone, but there is no need to post nonsense. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Avoid this dump like the plague!! The living conditions are beyond ridiculous, don’t be fooled by the “antique” “homey” look, the longer you are there the worse it gets, nothing is kept up with, decades of paint build up, outdated/faulty equipment, terrible insulation, major pest problems due to lack of concern with no intent to repair any of the issues listed above. The crap we’ve had to deal with in my 2 years of residency here is RIDICULOUS! My truck was broken in to several times, I lived in a town home and a flat, both of which had mold, termite and other insect infestations. Not a single drain in that complex drains properly.
