🚨‼️🚨BEWARE!! AVOID THIS BUILDER AND MORTGAGE COMPANY!! 🚨‼️🚨 Horrible experience with D.R. Horton’s Cypress Reserve neighborhood and with DHI mortgage out of Baton Rouge. I will start off by saying I purchased my first D.R. Horton home about 1.5 years ago in Texas and we are having to move to Louisiana now due to my husband’s job. The process was horrific, yet we decided we wanted to give them another chance since these homes in LA seemed to be of much better quality. MISTAKE #1. I’m going to try to make this as quick as possible but there’s a lot of info, so bear with me. We signed a purchase agreement with a sales agent in April, contingent on our home selling in Texas.
