Lived in a community in Henderson managed by Desert Living for over 12 years. The bad reviews here must be from those in violation of the rules & regs they agreed to when moving in. The staff are always available and respond immediately. They’ve kept the development in good shape: in the 5 years or so each home has been repainted, fences painted, all the roads recently resurfaced, and flood control project completed. The landscaping and gardeners are great. But this isn’t the place for you if you want to run a used car repair business in your driveway, paint your garage door purple or park an RV in the community.

I understand that HOA’s deal with difficult people, but this HOA is absolutely ridiculous! Homeowners beware! We’ve been making our monthly payments consistently, yet they were sending notices about a fee increase to a completely different address they had on file. We had no idea, and instead of calling, emailing, or mailing a letter to the correct address, they sent our account to collections even though we were actively paying on time every month! When we called to resolve it immediately after they finally sent us a letter after a YEAR of sending to the wrong address and the representative flat-out said they don’t have to provide notice before placing a lien on the property. That’s unacceptable. Their lack of communication and accountability has now left us with hundreds of dollars in “

They are the absolute worst! They charge hundreds of dollars a month but won't answer emails or phone calls. Then for the real cherry on top they tow your vehicle when it's them that hasn't bothered to issue a permit. I'm sure the towing company didn't kick back ANY money to the HOA, that would be unethical.

They are super quick to follow up with anything the board or the community needs. Lisa and her staff Have been the best HOA company I have ever worked with. They treat all the board, and community members with respect and kindness, and are quick to respond to any of our needs!!! Ps. I have tried not to call at night, or on a the weekends when they are not working, but even when I have, Lisa the owner of the company, has answered my call, and been concerned about my needs! (I am a board member of our community)

Not a good company. Randomly sends notices for things you never did and threatens to fine you for said things with no proof. Also kept all the money for the entire shut down instead of refunding some of the dues when they closed the pool, spa, and workout room. Things that I bought my place for and paid to use for 14 months with no access while paying for them. No stars. Do not recommend.
