To Whom It May Concern, I am writing regarding the $750 deposit I paid in connection with an apartment shown to me by Rhaney Canaday. After paying the deposit, I was shown a unit that had a strong odor, dirty carpeting, and was located next to an exterior water heater/exit. These material conditions were not disclosed to me prior to accepting my deposit. Due to the condition of the apartment and the failure to accurately represent the unit, I declined to move forward. I did not sign a lease agreement. I am formally requesting the immediate return of my full $750 deposit. Retaining my funds under these circumstances is improper, as no lease was executed and no tenancy was established. There is no cleaning staff on this property. The elevators are left dirty and stairs . Often there are large spider webs in the corners of the staircases because no one cleans them. When complained to management about it, was told to me that the tenants were responsible for maintaining the cleaning upkeep of the property! Another thing are the large pot holes in the parking lot. I’m tired of falling in when I go to and come from work or wherever! For the amount of rent they charge for this 2 bedroom, it isn’t worth it

Has a roach problem and they are overpriced also when the 2 police officers moved in under us they started harassing us the walls are to thin you can here everything the ice maker in the freezer never worked and I didn't like the matted paint on the walls I have little kids so it's not easy to clean the walls they charge for everything the trash compactor barely worked to busy worried about raffles and coat drives and food drives how about lower the rent cause it's not worth that much yall charging

I’ve not run into any personal issues for the small time I’ve been here. The neighborhood is quiet and well kept. It’s well lit at night time. It was easy to apply and move in. Maintenance is responsive and efficient. The only issue I’ve noticed is there has been dumping of furniture near the trash/mail center for weeks at a time. For those considering moving here, the mail carrier for this complex is quote on quote “behind on keys” so I haven’t had my mailbox set up in the 2-3 months I’ve been here which is an issue I’ve been working with through the post office. Despite those minor discrepancies, I plan on staying here for as long as I am able. Also huge thanks to Rhaney who was absolutely amazing during the application process!

Surge was very fun, clean, they have police officers in uniform for safety. Kids had a great time. Will go again.
