Delphi Properties

Unhelpful and uninspired. Delphi does not invest in updating their aging properties, and it seems they employ a skeleton crew for maintenance. When it rains, water pours into the stairwell and shorts out the lights. They paint over it and change the bulbs; it rains and water pours in again. Significant holes in the floor and walls let in all sorts of living things. When we moved in, every surface was dirty or sticky, and the common areas are filthy and in disrepair. In the winter, ours was the last sidewalk on the street to be shoveled and salted. But in a city with the nation's highest rent, I see all this as unlikely to change. Best to avoid.

I had lived here for 1 year from 9/2017 to 8/2018. A very old but decent place to live depending on the tenant's own lifestyle. The management office is slow in responding to emails/requests and once it took them almost one week to fix our heater (walk-in is always more effective than phone/email, which can be a problem on weekends). Coin-operated laundry in the basement and shared by multiple buildings so it can be quite busy during the night. Again, the place is VERY OLD, which you can tell from the hundred-year-old elevator and those "patch-ups" for the mice holes underneath the kitchen sink. It can be a little noisy during the game season (right next to the arena). Pros are the closeness to everything, Target, Whole Foods, movies, restaurants, etc. Price is okay if you do consider its

I am not sure where many of these negative comments are coming from. I am approaching my 8th month in my year contract with Delphi Properties and so far they have been very accomondating. My apartment was in a building on Massachusetts Avenue so my experience with this building might differ if you rent out from another apartment location. Whenever there was an issue with my apartment, whether it be a clogged drain or even a broken oven door, Delphi Properties were able to fix it winth 1-2 business days. They have a website for maintenance and where you can add a request to fix. So far, there was nothing that they could not do. Elizabeth Falcone has also been very helpful. I lived in the Boylston Street building for a year and recently moved out. Here are some observations based on my experience: > The standout feature of this place is its location. Cheap and close to campuses and main venues, but way too old and dirty in facilities. Mice and cockroaches are common. Sound proof are virtually non-existing, especially from the street and upstairs. Looking for a systematic upgrade or rebuilt.
