Love living here and love the pool! Very nice people live here have made a lot of new friends. My dogs love our backyard deck. Very clean and safe gated community.

Although the location is nice, the quality and finishes of the homes are cheaply done. You can find much better quality for the same price or less in nearby subdivisions. If you like aloof, unfriendly people and very restrictive rules, then Alegria is the perfect place for you!

Size of the clubhouse is just fine. Not everyone uses the clubhouse or the indoor and outdoor pools. New businesses are moving in all the time. Just in the past few months we have a Bed Bath & Beyond, TJMax, Kirkland, Domino's, Sally's, Maurice's, and a Ross is coming soon, all 5 minutes away. Great medical and plenty of restaurants, two Costcos, etc. within 20 minutes, and only 30 minutes to the airport, 40 min. to Santa Fe. Best location in Albuquerque!

Clubhouse is too small for the size of the community. Nice view of the mountains and the bosque is close by but not many businesses. You have to drive to Albuquerque for that which is about 17 miles away to the south. Not much in nearby Bernalillo, too, and it has had crime problems in its history. Be forewarned that the builder (Pulte Homes) does NOT have a good reputation for building quality homes since it hires the cheap labor. (Google "Pulte Home Complaints" and see what you find!) For example, not too many years ago, the roofs of all the homes in Alegria had to be inspected and repaired/replaced as needed because of shoddy workmanship and this includes the new and newer homes in the community. Credit to Del Webb for paying for all of this but it makes me wonder what else will

My aunt and uncle lives here for some time and it was all ways fun to hang out there
