Once my wife and I got tired of living in other peoples dream homes we interviewed at least 5 other custom home builders. We also looked at homes they had built for other people. It was surprising to us how much better Howard’s homes were. It wasn’t even close. Combine that with how upfront Howard is along with how nice a person he is and it was a very easy decision to choose Debenhaus to build our dream home. Every step in the process was explained very clearly. I really don’t recall a single misunderstanding. Once the home was finished and we moved in, a year later Howard was still following up with us to see if anything had come that needed fixing. Howard was top-notch for our build. Very responsive and flexible with our custom requests. His attention to detail is excellent and he seemed every bit as invested as we were in getting everything perfect. He does well to either get quality from his subs or only call the ones that will do quality work. He delivered us a fantastic house that we hope to stay in for a very long time. Building a custom home is stressful, but if we had to do it again, Howard would be the guy.

His attention to detail at every point of the building process was everything I could have hoped for and more. My husband and I give Howard the highest possible praise. He's honest, transparent, undaunted by challenges and incredibly communicative and responsive. He is thoughtful, friendly and an absolute joy to work with. He approaches every project through partnership with the client, collaboratively ideating to not only meet their needs but also anticipate the unknown.
