DCI Property Management

My experience with DCI seems to be different than others. When I moved In my townhouse was extremely clean. Kensington Court was a quite place to live and I felt very safe there. Any maintenance issues I reported were taken care of in a timely manner. When I moved out I followed the list they provided and ensured I thoroughly cleaned each item listed. I also followed their instructions and had Sears to clean the carpets and provided the receipt at my move out inspection. While I was charged for a couple items, like blind replacements, I received the majority of my deposit back.

This place was an awful condition the entire time we lived here and no matter how many times you requested maintenance and no one would fix anything. The tub was always clogged and wouldn't drain so you'd be standing in water while you showered. Ants would crawl out of the radiators all times of the year. The AC wasn't installed properly so but can't in constantly, and almost fell out one time, and was also full of mold. The woman in the unit beneath me had a broken shower for 2 months. Two drawers in the kitchen that I asked for repairs on twice never got fixed. But most concerning of all was the giant hole in the ceiling in the stairwell that looked like an attic opening but there was no roof above it or maybe it was the fact that when it rained the basement flooded because the foundati

I took amazing care of the place but had to move due to finances and still paid the 2 months of rent that I wasn’t going to be there for to legally get out of the lease. During my time living there, I put in at least 4 work orders for an issue that was never resolved on top of after moving during the inspection they thanked me for taking such great care of their place that it was left best among all inspections ever done just to turn around and leave me with only $100 back from my deposit and last months rent so out of $1022.00 I got $100 and the charges were not even valid!!

Don’t rent from these people. They charge you for everything that you have to have fixed at these crappy townhomes. Our ac unit broke and they charged us because the thermostat was low when the repair man got here. We explained to them that it was low because we were trying to see if it was working. They it went out again. If there was an option to give 0 stars I would. Rent from someone else!

Do not rent from these people they will take all of your money. My experience they took our security deposit and accumulated last months rent and still charged us over. The most damage that we caused was cracking a window, BECAUSE the window was already broken and slammed shut. Don’t know why it was not previously replaced, since they are so persistent on repairs ? They painted every single room and wall when there was hardly any damage. We cleaned the whole place from head to toe, bleached bathrooms, scrubbed walls, everything. Again do not rent from them if you can avoid, it will not be worth it.
