Our experience with David Weekley Homes at the Encore 55+ community in Wendell, NC, has been deeply disappointing, primarily due to subpar construction quality and even worse customer service. From the outset, we encountered numerous issues, and rather than finding solutions, we faced delays, incompetence, and even prejudice from their staff. One glaring example is the ceiling issue. Despite having the work redone twice, it remains unsatisfactory. We escalated the matter several times, only to discover that even the construction manager was unsure about the proper finishing standards. Moreover, there was a lack of oversight—they failed to inspect the work throughout the execution and would not ensure follow-through, relying on the workers to complete the job according to their own judgment
