I applied for a property them manage in San Dimas, CA called The Villas. This property is managed by David N. Schultz, Inc. in Glendale. I wish I would have read their reviews before spending the time and money to apply at this apartment. I would recommend you do before applying. Long story short; if EVERY APPLICANT applying doesn’t have 700+ credit don’t waste your time or money applying. They WILL NOT APPROVE YOU. My wife has great credit and my credit isn’t as good. The thing that bothers me is they don’t tell you this in advance. (Could have saved everybody time and money) The management company doesn’t communicate very well at all. I don’t even know where to begin. If only there were negative stars on here. I lived at the 445 W Dryden building for a little less than 4 years, and my experience was horrible. The manager was so rude and never stayed true to her word. She promised to figure out a parking situation for me, and even though there were parking spots that were growing cobwebs during the whole time I lived there, she didn’t take care of the issue. During the last 6 months, I ended up having to RENT a parking spot from my upstairs neighbor who didn’t own a car. I was tired of having hit n’ runs at nights while parking on the street and getting hit on by random men while walking home at nights. The primary concern involves a shared driveway between our building and the adjoining condominium property. Vendors, delivery drivers, and visitors serving the neighboring building regularly park in a manner that blocks our driveway, restricting ingress and egress for residents. My experience with David N Schultz Property Management was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. My sister applied for one of their properties, providing everything they asked for: an excellent credit score, proof of income that was more than three times the rent, and all necessary documents. Despite meeting all their requirements, they dragged their feet for weeks without providing any clear answers. They claimed they couldn’t verify her previous landlord, which was absolutely untrue. We personally contacted her landlord multiple times without any issues, yet the company insisted they couldn’t reach them. It felt like an excuse to delay the process. Terrible company, do not recommend living in buildings run by them. They will be harassing you if your check bounced by accident and they will give you 3 days notice if you don’t pay in cashiers checks from now on. Simply awful experience.
