A petty, incompetent organization run by a slumlord. Ignored many maintenance requests and lied about attending to several others despite ignoring them as well. David used a third-party maintenance person who was also incompetent and rude. David is extremely dismissive, unprofessional and rude. Furthermore, my lease and the advertisement stipulated I'd have a washer and dryer in-unit but these appliances broke during the first week of my lease and were never replaced yet my rent remained the same. David failed to provide me my mailbox keys for the better part of a month after my lease began because "he didn't know where they were." On at least two occasions people came to my rental because they'd booked my rental on AirBnb despite me being a current tenant. I've literally had David hang up
You absolutely do have records of me complaining. Emails upon emails upon emails, including a notarized letter I sent to you complaining about the hazards within the townhome I rented. I used to live in Indian Oaks. Front door not closing fully, no smoke alarm downstairs, mold growing in the closets, broken washer and dryer, the list goes on and on and on… I can recall three times I was supposed to have a meeting with David going over issues of the property and he never showed up to a single one. It has been three years since I have rented from this company, and I still advise people against using this company because of how terribly I was treated as a tenant. DO NOT LEASE WITH THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY If I could give lower stars, especially negative stars, I would. David is the worse landlord I, and my roommate, have ever had. Not only was the property absolutely disgusting when we moved in, black mold on ceiling, feces on the floor in the bathroom, larger than fist-sized holes in the doors, ceiling caving in, exposed wires, broken fire alarm, holes in the vanity covered up by cardboard, (some of the photos are attached, there are too many to attach. THESE PEOPLE ARE A NIGHTMARE, RUN AWAY!!!. Been renting with them for less than a year and cannot wait to move. We have never once had a good experience, it has only been issues from the moment we filled out our application. They claim over and over again that we do not submit payments. We had to actually start writing physical checks and filming ourselves turning them in just to pay our rent. They have still tried to claim multiple times that we didn't pay, even threatening to evict us, but when we show them the videos of us turning in our rent, they suddenly are able to "find" the checks. They claim they send you documents when they don't, and then try to charge you for not filling them out. So I am trying to rent out a home in Tallahassee 1210 Ford st. And I’ve been talking to a Mr. Luis Hernandez and I gave him 1,565 for a refundable application fee, the first months rent and the security deposit. Supposed to move in on the 1st of October. But since then I have not heard from him. I have not seen the inside of the property and that is my fault. He asked me for an additional $300to $500 for an attorney fee, which I have never heard of when renting any place. I am currently homeless and he took me for all of my money tried calling the property agency and they will not answer my phone call. I have also been texting and calling Mr. Hernández but he to has not been answering.
