Do NOT rent here. This place is terrible, outdated and the management is a joke. The rent is extremely high for these apartments built in the 1950’s. Casshill development is a joke. My neighbors downstairs constantly calling the cops on me for no reason literally trying to control what goes on upstairs. I literally have to tip toe in my apartment and that is sad. My nephew and I were watching a basketball game cheering our team on and the neighbors downstairs called the cops on me lying saying someone was fighting. Another time at 5pm the cops were called again for music playing from a phone mind you. There were a few times that they called the cops and no one was even home. I can see the cops on my ring doorbell while I was at work. Their son is a racist drunk who harassed me. I have sent
We experienced a very difficult situation with this management company. Due to a sudden medical condition, my daughter could no longer live independently. We provided medical documentation and worked directly with the on-site manager, who informed us that we could end the lease once a new tenant moved in — which happened approximately one month later. Despite that, our deposit was withheld, and we were still charged for the remaining lease balance. The account was then sent to collections, which has negatively impacted my credit during an already stressful time. In my experience, this company prioritized policy and profit over compassion or basic understanding of a medical crisis. I would strongly encourage others to carefully review all policies and consider this when deciding whether t
During a very emotional time when my daughter developed seizures and could no longer safely live alone, we submitted medical documentation and followed the guidance provided by the on-site manager. A replacement tenant moved in quickly, and we believed that meant we could move forward without further burden. Instead, our account was sent to collections and our deposit was withheld, putting even more stress on us at a time when we needed understanding and support. I hope no one has to go through this type of hardship while dealing with a medical crisis. I would encourage others to be fully aware of policies before renting from Danker Village or Cass Hill managed properties.
I am reading the reviews because I care about people 1. If there a rat infestation call Local Code enforcement for Albany Township, the NYS Health Department and Contact HUD or your Section 8 housing Authority and let them know as well. People please don't accept substandard living when they have contracted with the government to provide DECENT<SANITARY HOUSING ! When people are about to lose contract$ they tend not be SLUMLORDS! Take Videos.pictures, and anything else to show as proof. If you have to buy traps and poison ,put a letter in writing addressed to the building manager, section 8. and owner stating as such. There is Power in NUMBERS & Power in the BLOOD ! RALLY YOUR NEIGHBORS. MAKE PETITIONS< SUPPORT EACH OTHER IN CHRIST> I give DANKER VILLAGE *1 Star for HUMAN DECENCY.. I am
When I suffered sudden medical issues and could no longer live independently, we worked with management and submitted medical documentation. We were told we could end the lease once a new tenant moved in — which occurred about a month later. Unfortunately, instead of honoring that agreement, the deposit was denied and the full remaining lease was still charged. The charges ended up being sent to collections and hurting our credit. We held up to our end of the arrangements. We provided the documentations asked of us for proof of the need of medical assistance and paid all rental costs and utilities to the date we were told to. It came to our knowledge that the leasing manager as well as her assistant (who we worked these arrangements out with) had been replaced and the agreement that had
