Dahlia Square Senior Apartments

I have lived at Dahlia Square for 12 years I am happy here, we do have some residents that complain about everything.

My friend and his wife live here. Not a bad place, however a lady on the 3rd floor across from the laundry room thinks she rules the place. Everytime she sees me in hallway she harasses me. She asked me what I'm doing where I'm going and if I live there. At first I tried to be polite. But she was just plain rude. Telling me things like you don't belong in the building, you're not allowed to come in the building and even accuse me of being a drug dealer. She has nothing better to do then give me a hard time every time she sees me. She tells me I am not allowed to see my friend. My friend has complained to the office and management there's nothing about it. I've never done anything to do let that I am doing anything wrong. I used to live there; not a good experience. The office staff was mediocre on their best days. Maintenance staff was not just rude - 1 of them was determined to get his hands on me. I was always worried about getting my newspaper & mail delivered. They allowed my car to be towed twice for no reason that had to do with my living there - cost me well over $1000 total. If you're referred there, run - don't walk - to go somewhere else.

Don't live here. Shelley Renee doesn't do background checks. She goes off landlord reference even if you didn't get evicted, or owe. She does make prejudice decisions based off landlord gossip. Even if the court dismisses any eviction with out prejudice. I contacted city council a d mayor to show how they treat elderly and disabled in Denver Colorado. The landlord listen to gossip and will deny tenet a chance to move based on prejudice and bias interactions. Also elderly abuse tents by evicting them.

The tenants I visited had lovely apartments. As a senior their rent was cheaper than what I pay but they pay partial utilities. I don't pay any. They have some issues with residents that I currently don't have to deal with. Both buildings were built around the same time.
