Cypress Glen Apartments

We moved in from Alabama in August of this year and have been blown away at the office team’s amazing customer service (shoutout to Justin, he is SO amazing!) and both maintenance calls we have had to make were resolved within the hour that we called. There are SO many apartment complexes in Gainesville but NONE will ever compare to Cypress Glen! We are so happy to be here!

Management is unhelpful to the point of negligence. Apartment flooded *twice*, the second time because of a pipe backing up from the neighbor. They fix the pipes/plumbing, but don’t offer any sort of reimbursement for damaged property. Then they said moving apartments is an option, but they don’t have any more 2/2’s available and want to charge more money for a bigger unit instead. One of the worse things is they didn’t offer to have the apartment cleaned either, so there’s just someone else’s toilet water flooding. If that’s the kind of care they pay to the apartments I can’t imagine that the rest are much cleaner.

These buildings are made from bricks and steel consequently they stay much cooler than most Apartments. In general they are also quiet there is a pool here which is very clean-looking. You could do much worse especially on Utilities in some of the newer buildings.

I have lived here for 5 years and I love it here. Our apt is clean and neat and the perfect size for us retired people. Jerry has been amazing friendly and always attentive to our needs. Justin is so friendly and always willing to help. Anything we have needed including any maintenance requests have been handled above and beyond in a timely manner. Mike and his maintenance crew are always hard at work around the complex and professional and courteous Anthony is so amazing and always going out of his way to ensure things are right. They have made the community garden beautiful and given us a sense of family pride in where we live.
