The overall community is pretty nice, actually. The grounds are for the most part well-kept and manicured weekly. There are no amenities like a gym, pool or concierge, BUT there is assigned, covered, gated off-street parking which is like re-discovering gold in CA. The community is made up of a group of buildings, each housing 6 units of 2-story townhomes--and many are remodeled and very up-to-date. The units have a lot of room and storage space as well as a patio out back with ample space for a small gathering. There is an in-unit washer dryer combo and great closet space. Maintenance is efficient and SUPER quick when you need them. The main issue is with the management. They are not the easiest to get a hold of anymore--but very helpful when you do. They were great when I first

I moved in on October2020 after a delay for a week due to remodeling and poor management. I am not originally from LA so I ended up in a bad neighborhood waiting for the month late move in. Luckily they let me move in after a week of staying in a dangerous neighborhood in LA downtown. The townhouse wasn’t clean and ready to move in. It was full of spiders. And the service to get helped was the slowest. I was understanding to the remodeling process, therefore I got helped after three months of my arrival with what was needed to be fixed. Neighbors in the complex are a combination of old renters with a cheaper rate and new renters with the new rate. The old renters steal packages and scratch your car. Some of them are unfriendly and don’t look safe. The neighborhood is next to section 8 a hu

We just moved here and it’s been great so far. I don’t know how the prior management and maintenance handled the property before but we haven’t had any issues with them what so ever. Elena and Sergio have been very professional and helpful. The communication is good and they’re quick to reply to any issues that we come across. I would say the only issue we have are with some of the neighbors and how they don’t follow the rules of the community. With that said, I don’t think that’s any fault of the management. They’ve tried handling the issue on multiple occasions but there’s only so much they can do with tenants to refuse to obey. Also the fact that they just recently took over the property, I’m looking forward to see some nice improvements.

I've been a renter here since January 2020 and am moving out at the end of my lease next month I would give Culver Townhomes a one star rating, but I'm adding a star for the new property manager, Elena, who has been working at the property since October 2020. She is leaps and bounds above the previous property manager. A very low bar to clear, but Elena does a good job and cares (the most important thing!) Pros: - Location: it's close to the beach, walkable to Lodge Bread, Manana Coffee, the Culver Blvd walking path, and the Ballona Creek Bike Path (though accessing the bike path via Slauson Avenue can sometimes feel a bit unsafe (high crime on Trulia crime map)) - Price: for two bedrooms, in a decent location, with outdoor space, it's not a bad price. $3000 might be a lot in some cities

Also organized a viewing here and no one showed up. Notice how the only good review is from the management company itself, lol. At least change your name or use a burner account to give yourself a good review. Obviously, I didn't apply as what kind of experience would you get if the company can't even show up to their viewing appointments? Neighborhood is not good, though the apartment itself seems nice.
