Crosswind Apartments

This place is terrible. The apartment manager Mrs Andrea was rude, dismissive, and did absolutely nothing to fix the sewage issue in my apartment. The situation was ignored no matter how many times I reported it. The neighbors upstairs were loud all night and day , and the ones in front were constantly in drama and gossiping to management. Nobody cleans up after their dogs, and even people from the next building let their pets leave a mess. Kids run around with no supervision, damaging things while parents just watch. Maintenance workers were great Reggie and Steve but they only did what they could, but management like Andrea doesn’t let them fix much. "Pest control" is an included utility, however the lease is explicitly clear that this is not a reoccurring bill- unless Crosswind is combating bedbug in your specific apartment; then it is a one time cost. In other words fraud. What is a reoccurring bill however is a vague calculation that determines the cost to each apartment based on the square feet of your apartment by the square feet of other tenants. There is zero discloser of any value used in the calculation of these costs. I consider this intentional obscurity to mean inflated costs. In other words fraud. The rest of my grievances regarding the material condition of Crosswind I will leave to the rest of my most unfortunately neighbors. Highly recommend avoiding Crosswind Apartments.

My oven is unable to be fixed, because the maintenance man does not have a car. So it’ll be a week Tuesday.

If I could give this complex, no stars I would. When I first moved in here, I loved it now not so much. The property manager is completely unreasonable. My rent was late due to unforeseeable reasons, and I paid all of that and she still had a court date for me and she said it was Because I owed attorney fees. I told her that I shouldn’t be charged attorney fees unless I have to go to court and she said no I put them on your account the week of court. I have spoken to lawyers and legal aid and unless it is specified in the lease, it is highly illegal for her to do that. She still making me pay it or I’ll be evicted.
