Crickentree Apartments

I would strongly caution anyone considering moving into this apartment complex. My experience has been incredibly frustrating from day one. When I signed my lease, I was told a washer and dryer would be installed and the carpet would be replaced before move-in. Neither was done. On my move-in day, not only were those promises unfulfilled, but I also walked into an apartment with a ceiling fan hanging out, damaged blinds, multiple burned-out lightbulbs, holes in the window screens, and visible water damage on the ceiling. Since moving in, I’ve been dealing with a persistent flea infestation that has lasted over two months. Despite numerous treatments (both professional and my own), daily vacuuming, constant laundry, and repeated deep cleaning, the issue persists. The management has refuse

My roommate and I moved in at the beginning of the month. Everything has been great. Walls are thick enough to not hear every little noise the neighbors make, everyone has been really great and friendly. The price here is amazing, especially considering we're right on Shem Creek (You can even kayak/canoe/paddleboard up the creek from the complex). The staff has all been very friendly and helpful, easy application and move-in process. I'm sad to see the laundromat in the clubhouse go, but I'm glad they're putting in more workout equipment so we can all have access to a full gym at home. Overall, great spot, great experience. I have lived here since 2015 and have never regretted my decision to make this my home. The apartments are very well insulated and keep electric bills low. The grounds are well-maintained and the complex is very pet friendly. The office and maintenance staff are the best. The sound from other apartments is minimal. You won’t regret making Crickentree your home.

I really like living here and I love my apt. They wont tell me what my rent will be in 6 weeks. I feel like I have the right to know as I need to make plans. I've asked 3 times, yesterday they said today or tomorrow, I still don't know, I feel like I'm twisting in the wind. We have to give a 30 day notice to vacate, I fear that I will be lost in the holiday shuffle and miss my window and charged a fee either because I didn't get my lease signed on time or didn't give them proper notice
