Courtyard Village West Apartments

I lived here from the fall of 2022 until about 3 weeks ago. The only reason I moved was because I had an opportunity to move back home to Michigan. I never really had any issues, the couple minor ones were handled quickly. Most of the neighbors were fairly quiet and respectful. Management and maintenance were always prompt and accommodating. I made a lot of great friends here and already miss them! I would recommend checking this place out.

We lived here for 3 years (2020-24), and I have to say it's the best apartment experience I have ever had. Management is calm and collected, responded readily to issues and was reachable during their hours. I think one of the best compliments I can give is that I never saw management unnecessarily - they were not in our hair but kept things moving properly. After three years we have had to make a few maintenance calls, but they were no hassle. The maintenance staff responds quickly and efficiently, and respectfully took care of various issues on our timeline, and explain what was going on. The atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful. It’s been a while but I lived in this apartment complex from 2022 to 2024 and I LOVED IT. Although I left due to a personal situation with my roommates…the pool, the gym, the courtyard and the people that worked and lived there were amazing and all I could ever ask for in a first apartment. So much so that I plan on trying to go back and live on my own when I am able to. Thank you courtyard village west apartments!!!

This was not a bad apartment complex to live in. I’ll go over the pros. It’s close to some restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, the tollway, bars, etc. Rent wasn’t super expensive. There was a nice pool. No water bill. Apartment was a decent size for 1-2 people. Neighbors were very friendly and pleasant. Cons: parking wasn’t the greatest depending on which unit you’re in. Sometimes, if you go out at night or if you get off work late, you won’t find a lot of spaces close to your unit. Laundry, they had a washer and dryer in each building but they’re very limited. You would have to do your laundry at odd times. Kitchen was small. Property manager was not the greatest at her job. She was a hypocrite when it came to issues about your apartment or your lease. I have loved living here for more than 6+ years, and have met many very nice residents. Cannot say enough good things about these apartments. And if you have common sense and good judgment it will be an overall good experience living here. The apartments' brick buildings are better built than some of the newer places in the area that were slapped together quickly and cheaply. And rents are fairly priced compared to other surrounding area apartments. They regularly walk the grounds to ensure it is cleaned and well maintained for the residents. Manager, staff and maintenance crew are responsive and helpful to any issues and always pleasant to work with on anything of importance even going out of their way to look for delivery driver misplaced packages when needed.
