Courtyard Apartments

I have been living at this property for one year & a half. The first year was pretty much good. Small issues here and there but a few people working for maintenance was reliable & management would respond back to emails. Maybe two months before my lease expired the property was taking over by a new company. Since then it’s been hell. There’s only one maintenance person for the whole complex and tickets get closed without things being taking care of. The property manager doesn’t seem to want to have any contact with tenants unless you don’t pay rent. The hallway smells like garbage and doesn’t get cleaned anymore. There was only one washer and dryer for 8 apartments. Now there’s no access to the basement due to it being unsafe because homeless people sleeping down there. I’ve personally bee

Worst place ever Run. New management who sucks at communication . I moved into a not ready unit which I was promised would be ready . They barely wanted to accommodate me. THEY HAVE ROACHES and it’s like pulling teeth to get an exterminator here. I haven’t even been here for 6 months and I hate it. For the amount that I pay I’ll take my money elsewhere and at least get decent communication and better responses . Don’t let these fake reviews get you . It put a work order in MONTHS AGO for an exterminator and keep getting the run around as to why they haven’t showed up . I’m over it keep your money and go elsewhere.

The Courtyard is a beautiful property. It's in a great neighborhood Overbrook. not even 5 minutes away from City Line Avenue. It's very quiet and that's one of the reasons why I have been here for 13 years. Of course, I consider the one moving because I've been here for so long. Every year. I say to myself with the trees and the community I opt to stay so that being said management works with you. it's just a beautiful atmosphere. I thank Lotus every day! Jay is very easy to work with. If you have a problem, he's always on-site to solve it right away. He is one of the best managers we have had in a long time, and we had several, but he's on point!

The Courtyard Apartments have really stepped up lately. You can feel a shift in how things are run — smoother operations, quicker responses, and a more professional vibe overall. Management seems genuinely invested in the property and residents now. Big credit to whoever’s behind the recent changes, and Jay who has been so caring and genuine towards us and the property as a whole! It’s a great place to call home!

The property itself is very nice and clean. The outside (landscape) is well kept, inviting and pleasing but the inside is something else. The management office is really hard to get a hold of. (I've been trying for MONTHS to get a tour or response) The units do not have AC and use coin operated laundry machines in the basement. If you rely on the public transport system then you'll be happy to know that there are 3 bus lines that run from the property. All in all, it's not a bad property but getting a tour or taking with management is a STRUGGLE.
