Countybank Mortgage

I had a nice experience with the loan officer, however once I had the loan they charged me a late fee despite my bank mailing it two weeks ahead of when it was due. My bank showed it was processed BEFORE the deadline. I have never missed a payment on anything in my life yet they refused to make it right. Would not recommend County Bank for your mortgage due to the customer service and poor responsiveness.

Was recommended county bank mortgage by a realtor and contacted the recommended agent. We had a great conversation and I asked her to send me the link to her application page. After this, crickets. I did end up finding her application page on my own and spent an hour filling it out. It's been over a week since I submitted and have heard nothing from her. So today I emailed her and told her I would be working with a more responsive lender. Nothing from her for weeks and she responded within two hours saying "I apologize. I will withdraw your application." I'm glad that I decided to go a different direction. I should note that the agent was greenville based but I couldn't find a good page to leave this review. Don't waste your time with CountyBank.
