I live here and signed for a govt funded apartment, they are allowing people above me to hotbox their place with cigarette smoke even though I have COPD and had a doctors note stating I can’t live in that condition. I’ve been forced to stay at my parents house some nights. The manager will pull every string for them to stay there so now I have to file claims for property and emotional damage. Plus all the drama that happens here is NOT worth it. The amount of times cops have had to show up here, I can’t even count on one hand. I’ve already contacted HUD for FHA (fair housing act) and now I have to figure out how to get out of my lease without being treated unfairly, as I’ve already been treated unfairly. I regret moving here, entirely.
