I rented one of Costello’s management apartments in Oakland for 5.5 years while I was doing my PhD, and I was very happy with my experience! The leasing office was always helpful and kind, and both leasing and moving out were very smooth. Maintenance requests were usually handled within 24–48 hours, and the property was always well maintained and clean. I highly recommend them to anyone renting in Pittsburgh!

I had three different landlords while living in Pittsburgh for my PhD and Costello was BY FAR the best. Their properties are a bit pricier than others but in my opinion they are 100% worth it for the quality of the apartments and the excellent service (thank you Jenaro and the rest of the team). Just to give one example, my apartment used to run cold in the winter and at first I thought that was just how it was going to be. But within a day of me calling about it, someone came by and didn't just replace the filter - he dismantled the unit until he could figure out exactly what was causing the issue and replaced the parts so I never had to worry about the apartment being cold again. There are so many subpar leasing companies in Pittsburgh, especially around the student areas like Oakland -

I was a tenant for 3 solid years at an amazingly modern newly renovated unit. Maintenance was always prompt to answer any request. Rent increases were reasonable not to mention I got my full deposit back. Costello was my first landlord in Pittsburgh and they set the bar quite high. Would definitely recommend to others!

I was a tenant with Costello Property Management for 4 years and had an amazing experience. The property was clean and well maintained throughout the year. Maintenance was incredibly prompt and completed within 24-48 hours (including weekends for urgent needs). I had a time where my heat went out while I was away on vacation and the furnace was fixed within 9 hours of reporting it. I have, and will continue to, recommend Costello to anyone I know looking for apartments in Pittsburgh. I couldn’t have asked for a better property management group to work with when moving to Pittsburgh!

My time residing in a Costello managed property was easily my best renting experience I’ve ever had. Jon and his team were super attentive, quick to respond to any requests, and above all, made me feel comfortable. The apartment was well kept, had new appliances, and many features - like in unit washer/dryer, central A/C and a gas range on the stove. As someone who was not originally from Pittsburgh, I had a super positive experience and couldn’t recommend Costello Management enough. Moving is stressful enough, and Jon and his team put my worries aside.
