Cornerstone acquired a trailer park in Macon, Ga. The water was turned off three weeks ago. Calls to the water department were in vain as they were directed by owner to turn it off. The majority of residents are elderly and infirm. Children also reside on the property. Residents are forced to lug heavy jugs of water back and forth from area stores. The residents are willing to negotiate and pay for water service. Calls to Cornerstone are in vain. Surely a response is in order!

I have tried to reach the company for weeks. They’ve cut off the water supply to all residents. They are letting children and elderly go without water. They won’t speak, negotiate, or even give me a place to pay a bill. What they’re doing is forcing people from their homes so they can sell the land as a whole entity. It’s really sick. I feel for my neighbors and loved ones.
