Cornerstone Apartments

My girlfriend and I lived here for 7 years. The first thing we loved about the place was the location. Right off Wolf Road, you have easy access to everything on that street plus the Northway and Thruway. The location really can't be beat. The apartment itself was very clean and modern looking as if it had just recently been built. It was quiet despite being close to the airport and Northway. You really only heard the planes if there was no noise in the apartment at the time and it was never bothersome. Parking spots are right outside your apartment which was very convenient and a welcome change from being in the Center Square area of downtown Albany. I lived at Cornerstone for the past year and a half. It was an amazing place to live and the building was super quiet. Whenever I needed the maintenance staff they were there within 24 hours if not sooner. If we didn’t buy a house, I would have stayed there long term. Would highly recommend.

I have lived at Cornerstone for three years. The apartment is beautiful and the grounds are very well maintained. When a maintenance issue occurred, Tony and Keith and the maintenance team responded in a professional and timely manner. I would highly recommend Cornerstone Apartments to anyone who is looking for a luxury apartment in the village of Colonie, with easy access to Wolf Road and the Northway.

It was nice until it wasn’t. Please don’t die at home if you live here. Your children will be in debt for the rest of their lives. My father lived here for 9 years. He had a heart attack and died. They want 9 years of wear and tear to be replaced by the next of kin. Totals to the amount due on the lease 10 months. They just renewed his lease 2 months before he died if the place was in such poor condition why not address then? That’s not including the constant harassment while grieving. I’m talking 3 calls a day same week he died.

I am saddened to write this, but not for the reasons you think! My boyfriend and I just moved out as we bought a house of our own. Our time at Cornerstone was more than we could've asked for. Melodie was very responsive and very thorough during our initial walkthrough. Any issue we had, the maintenance crew (Keith, Tony, and others) were more than attentive and timely. I genuinely couldn't have asked for a better place to spend my year and a half. Rent and any maintenance requests were done all on one app, which made things super user friendly. The gym was also something I used frequently and it was very clean. The environment was perfect and the location was ideal when it came to shopping and dining. Thank you so much to those at Cornerstone who made our time very memorable!
