Cornell Woods Apartments

I have lived here for almost 6 years now, and I can confidently say that it has been a great 6 years. Maintenance is always on top of it and are so readily equipped to help at almost any hour of the day. The manager Thelmi is personable and very communicative. These apartments home such a diverse community of people. I also really appreciate how safe I feel here. 10/10 would recommend these apartments to people who are looking to live alone, with roommates, and even with families.

I have lived at Cornell Woods Apartments since October of 2023. I am so happy here. I just love the apartment manager Thelmi and the maintenance supervisor Jake. They are both professional and very efficient while treating residents kindly and with respect as they provide excellent customer service. In fact at times they both have gone above and beyond to assist my family, work with us and help us to feel at home. The complex is clean, tidy and very well maintained. I feel extremely safe in this apartment community and would recommend Cornell Woods to anyone looking to move into this area! Thanks so much Thelmi and Jake! DO NOT MOVE HERE. MANAGEMENT HAS A POWER TRIP. UPDATE; More evidence of lazy management. This manager will do anything if it means flexing her very limited power. She was trying to deny me a rental verification without me giving notice. What kind of power trip is that? I should be able to request a rent verification regardless if I am giving notice. This woman just needs to feel powerful. DO NOT MOVE HERE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE! Management here does not care about their tenants health and safety. Today they had lawn maintenance covering our grassy areas with roundup without telling any of the community. This is completely unacceptable. Kids play in that grass. Roundup is very harmful to kids and we deserve to know when they are spraying that on the lawn. The manager immediately tr

In the two years I’ve lived here I have been consistently impressed with the quality work and professionalism of the management and maintenance team. They’ve been professional, responsive and thorough. They have helped build a sense of community through resident appreciation events and creative contests. This small group of people strives to be a friendly, reliable and engaging presence and their work makes a positive impact. In addition, the landscaping is lovely. There are grassy areas and a lot of well maintained mature trees that provide shade from the summer heat. The location is convenient, the living space is comfortable for my family and the people are friendly. It’s a good place to call home.

We lived at Cornell Woods for 6 years and had the best experience! The complex is situated amongst big trees which makes it a peaceful haven and community. Management is great with upkeep of the apartments and improvement projects keep the complex new and in good condition. Work orders for the apartment were completed quickly so we always had our apartment in tip top shape (shoutout to Jesse!) we love Thelmi too as she is kind, sweet and funny and quick to respond. The neighbors were nice and respectful and we always felt very safe.
