Cormac Apartments

After living here in Cormac I can say that you will not be disappointed with living here. The apartments are new and have beautiful interiors. The great amenities include a large gym, pool, rooftop terrace, and other terraces that you often can have to yourself! This place would be especially ideal for someone who works from home with all the work spaces around the building. The leasing office is extremely responsive and helpful. Maintenance requests are usually fulfilled day-of and effortlessly. The other residents are friendly and the walls are very soundproof (I have never heard a neighbor through the wall). The only noise ever was when an upstairs neighbor walked around. Even the train was quiet with the soundproofing on the porch doors.

I am a 4th student doctor that is coming to Charleston for residency. I toured Cormac and all I can say is I’m in love! There were 3 main aspects that sold me on this amazing community. 1. This is far and away the nicest community I have ever been at. From the refined courtyards in front of Cormac to the cultured gathering spaces Cormac is beyond beautiful. I cannot wait to bring my friends over once I live here. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, such as the fresh flowers in the main gathering areas. Additionally, this community was incredibly clean! I was amazed at how much pride they put into keeping all the spaces clean and accessible to everyone. 2. Cormac has a lot of potential and could be a great place to live if it weren’t for the constant noise at night. Unfortunately, I can hear traffic from the road all night long from my apartment, and there's also a persistent beeping sound outside (similar to a truck reversing) that seems to go on for hours. I’m dealing with severe sleep deprivation because of it. If you're sensitive to noise, getting a full night’s rest here is nearly impossible. I’m really looking forward to moving this weekend so I can finally sleep through the night again. The noise has been driving me nuts. This is the smallest city I’ve lived in, and yet the loudest apartment I’ve ever been in at night.

Vinny and Audrey are very good and responsive. As well as the maintenance crew. It’s truly a pleasure to have lived here and I am grateful for this experience.

A great apartment with a great location. Maintenance took care of requests within a few hours successfully. The amenities are luxurious and include study rooms, a lounge, two rooftop terraces, a huge gym, and more. The apartments are brand new with gorgeous finishes. The complex is located in the dead center of the Charleston peninsula, so you are never more than a 10-15 minute drive from anywhere (Mt Pleasant, West Ashley, Downtown, North Charleston...). I wish I could have stayed for another year, but it was outside of my price range. You pay for what you get! If it is within your price range, I couldn't recommend this place enough!!
