Connection at Buffalo Pointe Apartments

The property is clean and quiet and maintenance comes quickly! This is one of the best properties I’ve lived at, the office staff is chill and they dont bother you as long as you follow the rules regarding trash and your balcony for aesthetic reasons I respect it. There hasn’t been any car issues since they got security and I’ve never seen any roaches or bugs in my apartment so anyone having these issues may need to question their own cleanliness or they may have really unsanitary neighbors.

Pests are an issue here and even given that it's an older property, the amount of roaches and even wasps that came in my apartment through either cracks, holes, etc. is what killed it for me. Thought it was quite ghetto and sketchy. There was a loud neighbor next door to me that would hold parties with people yelling/fighting and playing the music loud. Despite being no smoking property, I saw multiple residents smoking and smelled weed here and there. Seemed like one resident above my floor was even dealing. It's affordable being closer into the city but you get what you pay for. A couple good things - there's security on duty through the night and they make their rounds through the property and watch the gates. Maintenance is incredible here. When you sign they'll ask you if you want to pay a lower non-refundable deposit vs a possible-but-higher refundable deposit. I chose refundable. Regardless of the option they'll cook the move out charges, eat your 400 dollar deposit and say you owe them an additional 50% of a months rent. A broken lil part on the carpet and they charged 600. The apartment was left spotless, had left a piece of furniture by the trash so I ended up with owing 1800 upon moveout. All of my days of living I've never seen anything like this. I should have gotten a lawyer. Just don't mess the carpet up or leave a piece of furniture by the trash. Other than that, you will be fine. Reggie was nice though.

II was looking for an apartment close to my work and family. I saw The Connection at Buffalo Point. Reggie was the greatest. My finances and I took a tour, and I told Reggie what I was looking for, and he showed me what I thought I wanted, but in return, he showed me everything I would like in an apartment. He was gentle, patient, kind, and understanding. He made me feel loved, without being in a relationship. When I think about where I'm moving, I think about the service I received from Reggie when I was just looking for a new place.

NO, THE RESIDENTS ARE THE PROBLEM! … I think the real problem is how some of the residents are handling it.
