I loved my experience renting from Compass! Management was really friendly and always explained everything clearly. Maintenance was always very fast and communicative on when they’d be there and how long it would take. Move in and move out were both very smooth and easy processes. I would have stayed at the apartment but me and my son needed more space. It was overall one of the best rental experiences I’ve had!

Great experience with management. Apartment was clean and staff was impressive. We unfortunately had to end out contract early and they worked with us well and were very understanding.

BE AWARE Had no problems with them until move out. Decided to charge us for things that were already “broken” when we moved in. We talked to them after the blinds multiple times and they said “it’s fine”. Since we didn’t have our conversations in writing they are charging us $500 for all the blinds to be replaced. Ironic that we somehow “broke” all the blinds and they all need to be replaced. Even during our “let’s check to see if you need to fix anything” we were told that everything was fine. No notice or anything just them telling us that we will not be getting our full deposit. Be sure to take all pictures of EVERYTHING when you move in and document EVERYTHING so that you aren’t taken advantage of.

I was in Eau Claire for an internship and Compass was able to work with me on a Month to Month lease on an apartment. From when I inquired about it to moving out, they were always very prompt at answering texts and phone calls. For the most part, I worked with Emily as she gave me a virtual tour, since my school is about 11 hours away, responded to my questions and made my lease for me. If I were back in Eau Claire again, I would certainly go through Compass again for my rental needs.

I have worked with Compass Real Estate for the last 7 years. They are truly such genuine people. Emily & Dalton have been such a pleasure to work with! They are very professional, timely, and personable! I wouldn't hesitate to work with Compass Real Estate!
