Companion At The Palms

I toured this apartment complex and it honestly didn’t look as nice as it did online. Stair cases were dirty, trash around the stairs, liquor bottles, cigarettes. I mean I understand having a good time, but the least this complex could do is try to keep it a little cleaner. I also went into an apartment to tour (they have self guided tours) and I saw a bug which I think it was a roach, but it was for sure a bug in the window seal, dirty appliances, dirty floors. It really wasn’t in any shape and honestly clean to even show as a model unit. Personally, these apartments could have so much potential but you can tell that they don’t keep up and really try to enforce residents taking care of the property. Thank goodness I chose to tour this place first before applying.

I lived at companion for a year. The move in process was easy and the ladies in the front are always so kind and helpful. Apartments are clean and spacious. Nice amenities. Highly recommend. Very affordable.

A note from 907: I have lived at companion of the Palms for three years. I must say I had no complaints. I felt safe, staff and maintenance was amazing. I didn't have any major problems during my stay. Ive read some of the reviews, and I must disagree. I believe companion of the palms is a safe environment and as a team we all play a part in keeping our environment better. Everything shouldn't fall on the staff. I would definitely recommend companion of the palms. Alyssa, Teresa, Miles, and Darrell were awesome. Keep up the great work!!! I enjoyed my stay for three years.

Don't let the front of the complex fool you. This is the epitome of don't rent here. The walls are thin where you can hear an entire conversation from your neighbor. The trash compactor is always broken. The pool has been open for two months in two years. They tell you to come get your own filter. When they evicted someone they left their items on the sidewalk which left flies and maggots and when it was reported they said we know its going to be taken care of. It stayed there for two weeks. The stairs caved in on three separate buildings and there response was we're aware of it and it'll be taken care of. It took them three weeks to fix. They just put caution tape around it. They want to work as little as possible. They sit at the desk and tell you what to do. You will not get what you're

I moved from Broad River side (the ghetto side) and wanted a changed and decided to move to the Palms. Sherrie at the office was so helpful and gave excellent customer service and that’s why I decided to move. This is my second year living here and I must say it’s everything and more. It’s definitely worth the money. It’s so quiet (too quiet) which I love and the office staff is incredible if u want to live somewhere that’s safe, quiet, and peaceful this is the place. And might I add the apartments are worth every penny!!!
