We’ve had issues with the management company in the past. They’re way outdated with their systems and payment. They harassed my family a few years ago, by taking photos of my children playing outside. I followed the lady and started taking photos of her, and she did not like it at all. They even have a childish sign in their office mocking religion. Moving soon, and very glad to get away from CMSI. Next home will not have an hoa.

I would caution against considering Community Management solutions for HOA management services. While interacting with the company, the staff's level of expertise was lacking, and their demeanor often came across as unprofessional. Additionally, there were challenges in communication, as Kathy Dooley fails to respond to e-mails or calls. One notable issue is the apparent overload of neighborhoods under their management, which likely contributes to their inability to handle inquiries efficiently. Moreover, despite the company's assurance of maintaining thorough records for approval requests and related paperwork, they were unable to produce any documentation upon request. I have had some interaction with Kathy Dooley. The annual amount was the initial issue, there had been some relatively timely responses, but those were intermittent. I checked the Taxable Entity Search for the state of Texas, and, as of today (2-13-23), the franchise information indicates that their "Right to transact business in Texas" status is "Franchise Tax Involuntarily Ended." According to the state of Texas, this means that "The entity's registration or certificate was ended as a result of a tax forfeiture or an administrative forfeiture by Texas Secretary of State." I'm waiting for an entity that has a proper/valid tax status to facilitate with HOA payments. I give them one star for being able to receive incoming correspondence, take away four stars for lack of responding. The office has an ostrich mentality, if a problem comes up stick all heads deep into the sand. We hear nothing see nothing despite my relaxed, paced request for movement. I email, I wait a week or more, I call, I wait a week or more, I write Google review…you get the picture. Way to go omega team!

Brought a situation to the attention of the owner Kathy Dooley by several in the neighborhood regarding a home being used as an Airbnb. Kathy asked us to send her pictures, emails, etc to “build her case” as she would need to give them notice of 45 days to cease activity before turning it over to legal. This situation has been going on since Feb/March. Soon after the 45 days she quit responding to us in regards to what the status regarding the next steps to stop the activity of the Airbnb. Now we are in June and the home is still being listed on Airbnb with different tenants occupying the house all throughout the month and crickets from her or anyone from CMSI.
