Columbia Creek Apartments

I lived at Columbia Creek for about 6 months. Not the best place to live. Maintenance staff was wonderful. Shirley Stacey in the office is the rudest person I have ever met. Why they continue to keep this woman, I will never understand. I moved out and 3 weeks later I receive a letter from a collection agency that I owe $51.00 for my water bill. I had only been out of the apartment for 3 weeks. Thats 15 days and I am turned over to collections? I have placed a call to the office, which almost always goes to a machine. Can't wait to see what Ms. Stacey has to say about this!!!

I've lived here for about 4 1/2 years now and up untill recently I had nothing but good things to say about this property; however... About 18 months ago we underwent several changes in management with our current office staff being the worst yet. They are incapable of taking notes, incredibly impersonal, they dont listen to concerns or answer questions. Often times the same person in the office will call multiple days in a row asking the same questions and then forget the next day. I've lived here for over 4 years and i was denied access to the office fax machine because I left my ID at home and couldnt prove I lived here, The office staff has the memory of a small child and the clerical skills of a mentally deficient monkey. This is a very nice property! It is located close to downtown woodstock. The apartments and property are very clean and tidy. I have been visiting my girlfriend here at her apartment home for a year and a half. I would caution any new tenants from moving in if it still has the same management I have experienced. The maintanence and grounds staff are helpful and pleaseant. The problem is with the office. From our experience they are the rudest staff I have encountered in any business. From the get go they ignore you and treat you with great disrespect. Instead of helping you questions or concerns they lie to you and tell you they dont have a manager. Really,..... I have been living here for the past four years, going on five. I can't say anything wrong about this wonderful place. It is true that Shirley is a little "cranky" sometimes but, you know, so am I, so are you, you, and you, jajaja. People, lets don't forget how good we have it here, this apts. are great! they are very clean and spacious, I used to live at some other apts. here in Woodstock and didn't last but a year, I had creatures coming up the sink in the masters bedroom, scare the crap out of me jajaja, there were roaches on the ceiling, the kitchen, the living room, just about every where. I lived in this complex for about 5 months. I moved in May 2012 and had no problems until September 2012 when I came home and there had been a water leak in my living which spread all the way across the ceiling into the kitchen and the whole kitchen floor was wet.Part of the sheetrock had fallen off the ceiling as well. I had my 19 month old son with me and before I knew it he fell onto the kitchen floor and hit his head. He is ok, but the issue at hand is that I called the Maint. man to come out and check it out and fix the problem. Well he came out and cleaned up the water in the kitchen and placed a fan in the living room to dry the water on the carpet. I called the office the following day and let them know of the issues.
