I moved in at the end of May the transition was smooth, neighbors are quiet, parking is first come first served, trash is well kept, dogs are always on leashes. The neighborhood is very quit me and my dog feel safe.

Imagine moving into community and you become a helpful person too your neighbors! Now Imagine when u put in a request for a maintenance orders to fix things in your apartment and you are being ignored! Well this what happened to me since 2016 when I moved here! Back when this company’s was managed by Edgewood! After being ignored from staff members and their owners. I reached out to housing and reported Columbia Commons! Housing came out to inspect the problems and found my complaints true and they made the maintenance fix the problem or get fined! So after the situation was resolved! That’s when the retaliation started! Columbia Commons has always had issues with keeping the property clean at this time! Our trash wasn’t being picked up for days and even weeks! I lived here for two years and it was absolute chaos. I moved to this area for work, Columbia commons LOOKED like a nice place when I came to see it but it came with endless headaches and problems. Shortly after I moved in, there were roaches coming out of the bathroom skinks. It took maintenance weeks to come do anything about it. My rear view window of my car was bashed in along with many others in the parking lot. One day I came home from a long day of work and I had a note on my door saying there had been a homicide in the complex and that the police were investigating. The parking lot is always full of badly behaved kids running around unsupervised, people smoking weed and loitering. The previous tenant was always knocking on my door at odd hours for their mail. I haven't had much interaction with office staff however the maintenance supervisor is extremely patient and attentive! He makes sure to have all my work orders completed timely manner and if anything is needed he communicates with me. The neighborhood is good. The incidents aren't related. I've been here for more than 10 years.

I've been a resident here in Columbia Commons for approx 9 years, and a resident of Howard County for over 29 years. The original manager (Ms.Jewel) made everything beautiful here, she was an amazing manager. I have two children with disabilities and i am also disabled. Management is very unprofessional, as well as the new management team, and i have been totally disrespected by them both. I'm a person who loves people, advocates for others and i feed the homeless and try to help everyone in my community. The rent should not go up in these units, these places are horribly unkept. My walls haven't received a fresh coat of paint since i moved here. I've had 3 floods in my unit, as well
