Columbia Choice Apartments

I moved into Columbia Choice Apartments about a year ago, and I’m still so grateful for the amazing experience I had with Katie during my move-in process. From the very beginning, she was professional, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She made what could have been a stressful transition feel smooth and organized. Even a year later, I still appreciate how supported and informed I felt throughout the entire process. Katie truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was clear and that I felt comfortable in my new home. If you’re planning to move to Columbia Choice Apartments, I highly recommend working with Katie she genuinely cares and makes a big difference!

An older apartment complex, but huge in scale. They have apartment buildings all around the Safeway shopping center. Super convenient. They are going through apartment renovations which is nice. Under new management. Friendly staff. tenants cover all utilities, you also have to pay trash, can get renters insurance through them for $16 per month. Come with 4 floor plans. Great location, high walking score, close to Safeway, stripe mall with small shopping selections, Columbia Association Athletic Club, Bain 50+ center, walking trails, mall of Columbia and more.

Well, where do I start!!! I have been living in my apartment at Columbia Choice for 2 years now, but let me tell you all something, I have been a renter basically my whole life. I have lived in several big named communities around Silver spring, Laurel and Columbia and people I cannot tell you how much I appreciate these ladies here at the Office. Roxana, Katie and Jocelyn. These women have been more than supportive of me as a tenant. They have been so helpful, so kind, and I am forever grateful that God landed me here at this place. These apartments are not luxurious, they may have some problems just like other places, but when you go and talk to the management team, they really do their best to help you out of whatever is going on with your apartment. When my wife, our two teenage children, and I first toured the apartment we now live in, we immediately fell in love with it and decided to move in. Since then, our appreciation for this place has only grown. The beautiful apartment interiors, friendly neighbors, and the clean, pleasant environment of the Columbia Choice community all make this a wonderful place to live. Most importantly, the management team has been incredibly kind and supportive, especially Ms. Roxanne and Ms. Katie, whose thoughtful guidance meant a lot to us. I wanted to share how happy we are living in such a beautiful apartment in one of the best areas of Howard County, and to sincerely thank the outstanding Columbia Choice management team.

Previous tenant here. I would like to give this a 3 star rating based on my experience with this apartment complex. It has been fairly average overall. The building itself is on the older side, and that definitely shows in some parts of the unit. Maintenance was generally okay — requests were handled, though not always quickly. Management was not easy to reach, I always have to go to the office to talk to them. But I will give Roxana 5 stars for her demeanor and professionalism when handling tenants. She is very approachable and trustworthy. Noise levels inside the building are usually fine, but there have been times when high school kids smoke weed right outside our complex, and the smell seeps into the apartment.
