Colonnade Apartments

Living at colonnade for 8 years was really disappointing,the apartment are decent but not worth the price it is,it’s looks outdated and ether side elevator breaks down often especially in the summer where its the hottest season and I stuggle with bad heat anxiety that makes it 10x worse,alarms goes off a lot,no near guest parking,and management can be better,no wonder why every landlord they had at colonnade left because the communication was bad, I felt more like a unit than a tenant,as an autistic individual, asking for reasonable accommodations to begin the move-out process was extremely stressful due to how management handled the situation,and the property manager Miss crystal came off as dismissive and unprofessional, which made an already difficult transition much harder than it need

Lived here several years back... awful office manager, not enough parking for the residents, and NO parking for guests. Fire alarms going off at least once a month and had to evacuate the building. Strangers knocking on the door at random hours because people propped the front doors open. Aside from being close to downtown, there were no positives for living here.

My apt is beautiful& perfect! Super spacious for me and my 2 kids and allows my sons and I’s ESAs but god forbid you have to contact the office because when it comes to office staff no one is ever in office. I’ve tried to send messages on our residents app with no reply, have called and left voicemails with no callback but will have paper after paper on my door to let me know about 6 different inspections in 2 months; 4 months after I just moved in or the trash bag I’ve told my son to take out but he left a day too long in the hallway😤

I think this apartment complex has fantastic amount of space compared to most other one-bedroom apartments. The only thing that disappoints me though is that they only have six one bedroom apartments and all the others are two and three bedroom apartments and you cannot use Section 8 housing in two or three bedroom apartment unless you have children.

It will be two years in June that I have been living here. As a current resident here I would honestly NOT recommend that you waste your time. Yes, the apartments are beautiful and are in a good location, however the quality of the office staff has slowly deteriorated over time. If one person is sick, the rental office will literally not open up at all. Decisions are made without using basic common sense. For example, the rental office decided to close without notice for the three business days leading up to Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. That wouldn’t have even really been a problem besides the fact that many of the resident packages, including gifts were locked into the office.
