Colonial Bluffs Apartments

If you like living in a motel like environment, this is the place for you. Most of the residents are quite nice but the owner, Michael Murphy, is stingy and cheap. I spoke with people there who were waiting to have faulty appliances replaced and 2 years later it was still not done. We were promised a new dishwasher and after 1 1/2 years, when we moved, it was still not replaced. The biggest drawback is lack of privacy. There are no back patio's so if you want to sit out you sit in front of your place or in pool chairs. Every apt. faces the pool area. Smoking is not allowed inside so people smoke at the front and rear entrance. The rear smoking area was right outside our bedroom window so even in the winter when everyone opens their windows, we could not. I spoke with the manager and he sai

I think the bathrooms used to have Windows it's a shame that they block them years ago.

Great place to live, owner and his family are great people.
