My home is of good grade for a trailer. I believe my experience would have been a whole lot different if I had a better sales person. Of which is no longer there. Expect longer time than promised. Tom the manager is awesome to work with. Keith one of the construction crew is the best!! And Carol from Schiavi Builders was very helpful after set up trying to meet my needs as promised by salesperson and what I actually got. Any new construction has its issues. They are more than willing to continue to help me with any problems that may arise, so for that I will give them a 5!
If I could rate them 6/5 I would. Being young and never doing this process before, Steve, the General Manager, was so understanding and always helped us come to a decision with what we needed to do for our home. We ran into many issues with our power company, again because we didn’t know the process, but this put the process of finishing touches off for months. Dawn, the Construction Manager, was so understanding and did everything in her power to help get it solved. Once the power was installed, they moved so quickly and made everything look beautiful and seamless. I honestly can not say enough good things and highly recommend going through them for a future project. I attached a pic of our home so everyone can appreciate how cute it came out.
Zero stars! Stay away from this builder. They are unprofessional, rude, and don't even know what they are supposed to do. I built my home with them last year. During the construction itself, the house started to leak where the decks and stairs are attached. It's not even a year now and I have mold in the basement because of the leaks. They never even bothered to fix the leaks but were keen to collect their final payment. I have several contract disputes with them. Yesterday pipes to the second-floor bathroom burst and water started dripping into my kitchen on the first floor. The whole process of building the house with them was such a pain in the ***. We filed a complaint with the Manufactured Housing board and office of the AG, I guess the documents are available for public access.
One of the most professional experiences I have ever had. From the point of sale to the delivery and set up, everything was done promptly, and every promise was kept. What really impressed me the most was how my phone call was treated as the most important one that day. If it wasn't Sid following up on a question about the purchase or Dawn getting back to me about the delivery, it was Mike letting me know that he was headed my way to tend to an issue--sometimes not even one I was aware of--that day. I would highly recommend these folks to anyone looking to purchase a modular in the area. Don't know why you would do business with anybody else. Glad I didn't.
Stay far away from this company! They don't do what they say they are going to do. They sent our home down the road without any plastic, the home was wide open to the elements collecting dust inside and everything. When they set the home, the wires that connect to each side was crimped in-between the two sections and had to be cut and rewired. The work that had to be done on the inside was not good. Had to call numerous times to get them to come back and do their warranty work and still hasn't resolved all the issues. We have a sliding door that leaks and their answer to the problem is that is how it is suppose to be. So a door is suppose to leak??? Have left messages for them multiple times and haven't heard a word back. Even had them sign a paper saying work will be completed re
