I highly suggest you do NOT use CMG. I made the mistake of financing through them…. It was an absolute disaster. Communication was non existent, especially after I received the pre approval. Since they know at that point you are locked in. It came down to days before closing/evening of July 3rd the loan officer informed me my documents weren’t good enough. Ended up working out but you would expect a little more professionalism. Before I could even make my first payment they sold the loan to a different party. I would call CMG to make my payment and I would get told they can’t help me any longer since the loan was with a different provider. I would call that provider and they didn’t even know who I was. Please do your self a favor and just go to a bank or credit union. Learn from my mista

Do NOT recommend using CMG for your mortgage. They sold our loan off as soon as we put our house on the market causing MASSIVE delays in a VA assumption. If using VA loans, stear clear of CMG! (No matter what your realator recommends) Once they sold our loan, we have had nothing but issues. They will dump you after they get paid.

I originally had an WONDERFUL experience with this company while getting my loan finalized. My first hiccup was the mortgage company not being flexible with payment methods. If you are looking for a flexible mortgage loan that would help you financially, then maybe try someplace local. The second hiccup was after a little over a year my loan got transferred to another company. This also kills the dream of getting a free loan refinance which I signed up for when applying for the loan. So, ultimately the cons outweighs the pros. But the people in the office were very nice, but I think a different mortgage lender would be best from my experience.
