I've been living here for over 4 years and truly love the neighborhood, the community, and the onsite staff. The onsite staff always goes far and beyond for residents so this review is not a reflection of them, but of the building’s management. While rent has significantly increased yearly, the quality of the building and care from management has continuously declined. When issues arise that the onsite team can’t address, management has been terrible with communication to tenants. Despite repeated feedback about the need for timely and consistent updates, little has changed. We are currently in a heat wave with 100 degree weather and the building’s A/C is completely down. We love all of the staff that works in the building and are so grateful for them. Management is a complete mess and has left us without proper AC for the past two days in the midst of a heatwave and a record breaking high in nyc of 100 degrees (warmest day in 13 years here) our apartment is at 80, we have neighbors with thermostats reading 84. They are providing very little insight into when it will be fixed. We pay far too much to be sweating in our own homes.

Great location and building staff. I lived here for 4 years but the management / leasing office is terrible. Very slow to respond, unethical, sitting on renewals for over a month and then giving you 1 day deadline to accept on a Christmas holiday. They raise the rent 20-30% every year even though rent is down this year and new tenants are paying less. They’re renewing current tenants for higher amounts than market rate. Do not recommend.

I bought a condo and needed to move out before my lease was up, gave 3 months notice for this. They wont show it til you leave. They will sit on their hands and force you to pay months while you dont live there. Nobody stays in the building because they attempt to raise the rent by 1000 dollars every year, and I think this is what they want. Nobody from the management office cares about you or even responds to emails. Responses to emails as well as rent increase letters feel like they are written by chatGPT. Beautiful location but do yourself a favor and stay away from this place
