Civic Square Apartments

RENTER BEWARE!! They will charge you first and last months rent when you move in, but they do not want to give you last months rent back. They told myself, and 4 of my neighbors I spoke with when they moved out at the same time as me, that we did not correctly fill out a form so they will be charging us for an extra months rent. They told all 4 of us this, and I'm sure they tell everyone this. My lease ended on August 31, but they are charging me 1300 for a month I did not live there. They are charging me for a month AFTER MY LEASE ENDED. They redid the whole outside of the building so it looks nice, but it's like painting a garbage can. It's still trash inside. All white counters and cabinets that don't stay shut. They soak up anything too so impossible to keep clean. My ceiling rained

Nice apartments. I especially liked all the new improvements, including the new fitness center and tenant lounge! Very friendly staff, I think it was Samantha that gave me the tour.

To be clear: I do not live here, have not lived here, and will not be living here. With a price range starting at $1,100 (based on another website), I would expect more from them than fake listing photos and a website that doesn't exist. I don't care about photoshopped decorations but fake appliances, walls, and flooring (and suspicious wavy lines on the cabinetry doors? AI? bad photoshop?) and a website to nowhere does not instill confidence and leaves me scratching my head. They must be legitimate, the building does actually exist and there are actually reviews. But be wary and vigilant when viewing for yourself.

I have been living here for 10 months now and i am so grateful for Samantha for her professionality, quick responses and flexibility. She’s the best! Also, Jenny is great at maintenance and very quick to fix everything. A great experience living here. I am already recommending friends coming to Rochester to come live here!

I love the location, I can easily walk to places. Management has been great and responsive with any question I've had!
