City Center at Lynnwood

So much black dust from I5 and 196th it's a health hazard. I had a expensive air purifier in each room and has to replace the hepa filters every 4 months. The noise from the roads is so loud if you open a window cannot have a conversation inside. The heat in the apartments exceeds the heat outside by 7-10 degrees. There is no way to ventalate the apartments at night. The dryer ventilation that goes from the dryer to the roof then outside has NEVER been cleaned in 3 years. The lint on the vent on the outside can be seen. It's the law the landlord have a professional vendor come 1 time a year to certify it was done and/or when a tenant moves out. Our application took about 5 weeks to be processed only for them to decline it over nothing. Staff never answers the phone despite always being in the office. If you're at the front door and trying to get in for a tour, your best bet to get in is to bang on the window and hope the front desk notices. The front desk would also be closed even when we had an appointment scheduled. The building is SUPER nice. I'm convinced they are a scam somehow and intentionally trying to not get many people in the building, it seemed really empty. Edit in response to the reply: honestly the staff are just being lazy lol. Every time we were in, there was at least 3 staff and they'd still refuse to answer the phone or let you into the building. They'd just be talking. We answered all questions honestly and f

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. DONT SEND AN APPLICATION. It took me forever to get my security deposit, back. After months and months of waiting. They said it takes 7-14 days which is a lie. I emailed and called and no one ever picks up the phone or emails back. HORRIBLE customer service. They said it would be shipped to my addresses and never got shipped. The front desk will lie to your face, about getting your deposit back, they want you to forget about your deposit so they can keep it. AND also they can do direct deposit back into your account. So if they say they cant, they are lying to your face. Don't APPLY.

City Center is the first apartment complex I have lived in by myself. As a first time renter, I am very much impressed with how they operate as a business and apartment complex. The office managers are friendly, personable and are willing to work with you in order to assist with you applications. The Amenanties are amazing and the the secured access building keeps you and your loved ones safe. Jasmine and Laquala who work the main office are fantastic, Debbie is a powerhouse. I highly recommend this Complex for not only a first time renter but any type of renter seeking affordable, safe and secure housing. 10/10 on the T-rex Scale

My application was denied because I owe money. The money I owe is medical debt because I was sick and was in and out of the hospital for a whole year. Thank God I’m better now, but it affected my credit score. This makes no sense; this is affordable housing. On top of this, I also owe money for school debt. I’m a single mom with two kids, and I still don’t qualify. This will be reported to the fair housing Federal act.
