City Abstract

City Abstract is my default for real estate closings. I've had multiple closings here over the last few years and they are always on top of things, offer fair prices, and have a lovely office that I enjoy visiting. I strongly recommend them.

Start to finish the process was unprofessional and well below what is expected. The lead contact would leave me a message about something and I would call her back with a question and she wouldn’t return my call. I had to do everything online without speaking with her. Closing day was an even bigger nightmare with the most unprofessional notary I’ve ever met. She didn’t have the proper documentation, which she knew ahead of time, and did nothing about. She was a total drama queen about hand writing checks and made us all go to another facility to finish the closing due to the public library closing. I have an infant and we were made to go to the second location for a check. Nothing to sign. That check could have been given to my real estate agent then to me. We took a day off work for this

Bad experience from start to finish. Had to reach out multiple times to get my questions answered. This title company rushed everything at the end even though they had PLENTY of time to complete everything for this easy, cash transaction. In the end they still messed up 2 major items on the final sheet although we brought items to their attention well before closing. They put all parties involved in a bad situation. Very unprofessional. I reached out to Betsy Runyan once questioning her mistake and didn’t receive a reply. Reached out again telling her we know she messed up, and again no reply from her. This was a very easy deal for them and should have been an easy transaction but it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a title company and I work with title companies over 50 times p

The entire team at City Abstract Title is extraordinarily responsive and proficient. Huge debt of gratitude to Joann Riverso who made the process seamless. Not one mistake or challenge anywhere to be found. Also a great deal of thanks to Cheryl Campo who is extraordinarily efficient as well. This team is , friendly, helpful, convenient and offers the best possible experience you could ask for, for title. Don’t waste your time anywhere else.

Great folks to work with through the entire process. They helped me understand the process on the front end and after closing/settlement they were able to help me answer some follow up questions. I ask a lot of questions and they explained everything to me throughout the process.
