From the moment I moved in, I was impressed by the beautiful hardwood floors that give the space such a warm, modern feel. The appliances are top-notch—clean, reliable, and make daily life so much easier. One of the things I appreciate most is the sense of community here. The neighbors are friendly, respectful, and there’s a real sense of pride in the shared spaces. Management is absolutely wonderful—always helpful, quick to respond, and genuinely friendly. I stayed at Chroma Apartments for one year. Overall, the apartment itself was quite good — modern and comfortable. However, there were several downsides to my experience. The walls are very thin, making it easy to hear noise from neighboring units. The location is also inconvenient if you don’t have a car, and the gym facilities are inadequate. The main reason for my low rating is the poor communication and unprofessional management. Our experience with Catherine was especially disappointing — she consistently ignored emails and showed little interest in addressing concerns. She’s terrible to deal with. It’s troubling that Chroma entrusts its property to individuals who come across as indifferent, unmotivated, and frankly, incompetent. I also wonder whether the owners ever review tenant

My experience so far at Chroma has been fantastic. I had a few maintenance requests that were completed promptly in one business day. Catherine and Chloe from the Chroma team are very helpful and prompt in their communications.

We lived at Chroma for two awesome years. The building is very nice and some big highlights are the rooftop with great Boston skyline views and the gym with a Peloton. Also, the building does a fantastic job keeping everything in very good shape and takes a proactive approach to maintenance. Chester, the manager in charge of the building, is super friendly and always addresses any repair requests promptly. When I had a water filter problem, a light bulb out, or a drain clog, Chester would always have the problem solved the same day, often within a couple hours. They don’t hassle you about repairs and put them off as some landlords do and instead proactively making sure the building stays looking like new. Thanks Chester and Chroma!

really bad communication, never answer emails! tried to get access to gym schedules for months and never got back to me even though management kept saying they would even when i talked in person 2x and emailing several times. And they are making me pay extra 8 days of rent past my lease end date for no reason except lack of communication.
