My situation was unique in that we started house hunting long distance back in October. Chris was the ever patient, ever diligent, gentleman who guided this newby until I finally closed the end of February. This was not caused by him but he stuck with me and promised my house was out there and we would find it. So here‘a the thing about Chris Whitehurst as a real estate agent: he’s the best. I do not say this lightly. In fact, Chris was not the original agent with whom we signed... he ended up being assigned to us (he had JUST started his stint in real estate). As a seller, this made me incredibly nervous. Uncomfortable. Probably many more disconcerting words than I ever actually shared with him at the time. The reality though, is that I am beyond thankful. When Chris took over our listing, it became clear that he was meant for the job. His vision and what we knew our house to be became clear in his listing/marketing approach. When it came to showings, he went above and beyond what I even imagined in an agent. Though it started accidentally, it was meant to be because I cannot speak more highly

Horrible experience working with Chris! He made it very obvious my sale was not a priority for him. He failed to verify important Power of Attorney documents that I asked to have checked before we listed. Then when things really took a turn for the worst, he continued to ask ME if his “ideas” to keep the sale moving would work instead of asking the people that would actually know. For the “professional” to constantly be asking the first time seller for verification is absolutely ridiculous. And I’m still waiting on an actual apology for his screw ups. Military families should avoid Chris at all cost! My husband was deployed and Chris didn’t seem to grasp that by literally asking me if my husband can get things notarized stateside even though he is on the other side of the world! Hiring Chr
