Pretty great location on campus, no different in terms of walking distance than any Southside dorm. Got in here sophomore year and anticipate I'll stay until graduation. Living space is sufficient and workable, not the best for studying but with campus so close by you'll be fine. Big fridge and adequate kitchen with stove, oven, etc. just make sure to bring your own microwave and tea kettle. The buildings are old and I absolutely loathe the omnipresent carpet, but after some cleaning you can get the place to a liveable state. Bathroom and shower are adequate although I do wish the toilet was independently accessible from the shower, the setup can lead to some trying-to-use-the-dial-up-internet-while-someone's-on-the-phone type situations. The laundry facilities are coin-operated which is r
Old apartments but surprisingly large living areas and storage. Of course combined with small bedrooms. Baseboard heating makes under bed storage tricky. Heat doesn’t work great but for campus employed staff they’re pretty responsive. Interesting bathroom layout: linear, closet just inside the door, then double vanity, then tub with shower, then locking door to the toilet. Shared washer dryer that don’t work super well (won’t dry anything in less than 2 cycles). Since they’re WSU owned, scholarships count for rent. Chief Joseph apartments are smaller but newer and nicer.
The residence advisor was listening to music inside her place when I knocked on the door to ask a legitimate question during business hours. Heard the music turn off inside and then pretended to not be home lol
