I called with a request, no call back, I email with the same request then I didn't get an answer, it was just a string of 9 pages of their policy and then I apologize asked the same question differently, then I got a yes or no answer. Not friendly and very cut and dry. I can take it no problem, business is business, but usually every one tries to make it easier, more practical and/or a little more pleasant.

After closing on a purchase, this Chicago Title office verified they would send the documents and a check worth thousands to my address in Canada. After 2 1/2 weeks I had not received anything, and so I emailed and called to enquire. Angela L. informed me that they sent these documents and checks via regular, unregistered, untrackable USPS mail. She further stated they cannot send out of country using FedEx because they "don't have an account to send to Canada." Frankly, I'm shocked a title company would send closing documents and checks (worth thousands) without a tracking ability - even USPS offers that option. Just to add insult to injury, Angela L wants to send me a form declaring that "I" lost the checks and would like the lost checks cancelled and new checks drawn. And then, to top i

I have used this title company three times and I am thoroughly impressed..... Thanks to a hard-working lady named Cecelia, their service after the closing is even better! .......... Every couple of years, I call that poor woman and ask her the dumbest questions. She then patiently re-explains the document that I am looking at with crossed eyes (and she even resends portions that I have lost)......... Thank you Cecelia!

What a haphazard close - resulted in a two day delay. Nary a text or call to firm up timing. Hubby and I were both leaving town that morning and Angela was quite surprised and had to scramble to get mobile notaries scheduled to our destinations. Not very knowledgeable either and I had to call a friend who knew her stuff. You can do better elsewhere.
