Workmanship and quality issues. Builder did not honor the home warranty. It was new construction. While much of the house turned out fine, there were issues with weatherproofing that caused leaks in the house. We had a 3rd party inspector come out to identify the issues in workmanship so we could address the leaks. There were also issues with the top floor railing, which we had to secure later. The subfloor to the top deck was not the right material, and we had to replace the entire deck. Additionally, we were charged for a humidifier that was never installed. We've had multiple plumbing leaks in the house. Some of the smaller items have been addressed by Chesapeake Services, but all of the larger ones we've had to pay for ourselves.
