Chesapeake Commons deserves ZERO stars. I lived here 1 year 9 months and they changed my air filter ONCE—only after I found black mold in my unit. I sent them positive mold test results and they still refused to properly treat my unit or the hallway. Unit 516 and the whole 5th floor are moldy; they literally just painted over it and the water damage is still there. Then they kept my $1,695 security deposit even after I gave proper 60‑day notice. Ana, the leasing manager, is useless and does nothing to solve real problems. The operations manager talks to residents like trash and told me “this isn’t his first rodeo” when I said I’d go to the city. The building is old, the parking lot is caving in, huge rats walk the lot, security is nonexistent, and the gate is usually broken. They don’t fix

I visited this community recently to see a friend, and while there are a few positives, the negatives stood out much more. On the plus side, the apartment itself was spacious, loft-style, and had a nice view. It appeared somewhat updated and comfortable inside. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. During my visit, one of the two elevators was out of service, and the remaining elevator was very slow, which was inconvenient. The walls also seem thin, I could clearly hear a neighboring resident talking on the phone. Common areas were not well maintained, with dog waste left in walking areas. The biggest and most frustrating issue, however, is the bird problem. Birds are present year-round, and it’s a serious nuisance. I parked overnight and returned to find my car completely cov

I had heard nothing but amazing things about these apartments. I had scheduled an appointment to hear more about a lofted studio. As a young professional I was very excited. I waited for over 45 minutes for my scheduled tour, only to finally be saved my a resident that went and got the lady in charge. Finally, after almost 60 minutes the leasing lady came out and without apology, brought me in. I'd like to add it was about 40 degrees and I had called both the building and the management agency with no response. After finally being shown unfinished apartments, my application consisted of writing down my information on the back of a reused peice of paper. The older woman showing apartments seemed fatigued and unable to handle her work. She stressed to me how busy and stacked up her work

Lived here for three years and have really enjoyed it. The staff is wonderful and always very helpful, though I wish the front desk were manned more. Small gym though well stocked and maintained. Units all have interesting layouts. There have unfortunately been somewhat frequent maintenance issues, ie the parking lot gate breaking frequently, elevator issues, etc.

I wish I could have stayed longer. I lived there for only one year, but the list of amenities tops out most every listing I've seen before and after finding this place. Quality appliances, tons of character, secure. It is fairly close to the not-so-safe Lexington Market (5Blocks away), but the same distance in the other direction is Walters Art Museum and Mt Veron monument park! Its just patchy, like everywhere else in Baltimore. Wireless everywhere on site is another bonus. One less bill for me to deal with. I'd recommend it to people wanted a little extra available at home.
