Chelsea Creek Apartment Homes

I recently toured Chelsea Creek and was incredibly impressed from start to finish. The leasing agent Matthew was warm, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free, answering all of my questions with patience and honesty. A special shoutout to the property manager Miss Shalamar, who clearly runs a tight ship while still making you feel genuinely welcome — you can tell they really care about the residents and the community. The apartments themselves are beautiful, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out. I have lived here for the past four months and can confirm this is the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived at. They charged me $100 up front to have my apartment cleaned and I walked into an absolutely filthy unit. They said they were getting another cleaning company to clean and there was still debris in the wall trimmings and on the ceilings. See images I’ve attached. Additionally, I’ve filed noise complaints multiple times over the last two months, and all they did was call and email the people I told them the noise was coming from. After the first five times I filed these complaints, the manager said the next time was going to be a lease violation. Everything was pretty nice at first. While moving in the office staff was nice. We had a few small issues but the maintenance team was quick to fix them. But things have been going down hill the last 6 month. The tenants living above us moved out and a team came in to start doing work on the apartment, they were extremely loud and banging on the floor (our ceiling) at 8am for hours on end. When I called to tell the office staff that it would have been nice to get a warning as my partner and I work nights and could have made other accommodations in a very rude tone I was told “It is not our policy to inform residents when we do work. That is just part of living in an apartment.” Additionally the floor/ceiling between apartments is extremely thin we can hear our upstairs neighbors just walk

I have not completely moved in yet. But already, I am greatly impressed by the staff and the location. I feel like this will be a great place to be.

Since Saturday I used the resident portal to report my toilet being broken. It never was fixed, I even went up to the office and left voicemails. Highly upset with my service I never received and do not recommend (mind you I am 6 months pregnant as well.)
