Charlestown of Douglass Hills

I’m moving in today but my experience so far has been amazing! Love my townhome, the community and the staff in the leasing office is great! So excited to live here!

Amazing customer service! Megan Paff was very helpful, polite and kind, best I have seen so far in Louisville.

Terrible property management. Maintenance just walks in whenever they feel like it without knocking or giving notice they are coming.. not even a sorry or excuse me or nothing. They will fee you for anything lord forbid Deann wakes up on the wrong side of the bed there will be hell to pay! The walls are paper thin, you can’t even laugh too loud living here or you get a noise complaint, they want you sitting in your apartment like squidward or something! I can’t wait to move!

Parking is way too tight, come take a look. You have to drive through very cautiously and parked vehicles on the side of the buildings blocks your view, it’s almost like you need to take A life or death risk when you turn in. Maintenance does the bare minimum. The furnace and AC are ancient, so LGE bills are insane. People barrel through the lot at 45 mph, slamming their brakes to avoid head-on collisions. Apartments might look nice at first, but problems pop up fast like tubs turning brown and other hidden issues. Also, Laundromat is overused. So if you have a unit with no washer and dryer? Good luck. 11/10 do not recommend 3.5/10 maintenance 4.5/10 cleanliness 4/10 laundromat

I truly enjoyed my time at Charlestown. Megan, who is in the rental office, is excellent. She has helped me on multiple occasions and did it with a smile. I remember I had to change my locks, and I was getting off work after hours, and she held my key for me so I could get in. Megan made my move-in process easy and not overwhelming. I also enjoyed how the rental staff is the same people and not constantly changing. When I put in work orders, they respond in a timely matter. My townhouse was lovely and spacious. Charlestown is a great place to live.
