Charleston Court Apartments

This apartment complex has pros and cons, but the biggest con I've seen is the laundry facility and snow removal. One of my friends lives there now and they've been stuck for 2 days with no reply to multiple calls about snow removal and this place should be plowed to be in compliance as it serves the elderly and disabled. Also the residents have tried to get some things accomplished about getting good working washers and dryers here to no avail.

The residents are friendly. Management is only here two days a week. Maintenance isn’t here much. The washers and dryers are always broken. Management will send someone out to fix them every few months. They break down again within two weeks because they need replaced. The elderly residents that live in this building have no way to wash clothes. There is no laundry mat in this town. It’s sad that the residents pay rent every month and don’t have access to a working laundry facility.

my Mom lived there until she recently passed away, now trying to talk with someone is a Joke, you leave messages but get no call back at all! I have been trying since August 4, 2024 to speak with a person, left a message then, no call back after a week! So I called the Corporate office on the 12th of August and was given another person to speak with, of course had to leave a message, no call back, so I called again on the 13th of August and had to leave another voice mail! still no call back, so I called again today and asked to speak with someone higher up, Guess what, I had to leave another message! I am beginning to think no exists all I get is another voicemail to leave a message. I have left my home phone number and cell phone number, many time! I will be waiting to hear from someone

The showers don't heat up the water like they should. The dining area downstairs is rarely used. And there's no public restroom downstairs! And the key is pocketed by the manager! The air conditioner is a bit shoddy! And is slow to respond. We have no awning outside to provide shade! The doors could use some oil, they squeak! The washers and dryers are in dire need of service!

A small community of mostly older folks. It is very clean, well-kept, and pleasant. The staff is helpful, and there is a United Senior Services branch in the building who help the residents with whatever they need. There are even trips to local stores, and to medical visits.
